Richeson Premium Pastel Paper

The texture of this pastel surfaces is like no other. With an exquisite 'toothy' finish, pastels can be applied with ease as the surface grabs and holds the pigment, layer after layer, allowing the artist to achieve great depth in composition. This surface is also waterproof so the artist can apply water to soften the edges of the pastel without altering the surface. You can scrub around the colour with a rag or any pastel-blending product. and inks, gouache, acrylics, oils and even watercolours can be freely applied to compositions allowing the exploration of a wide range of techniques. The paper substrate is a sheet of 300gsm, acid-free watercolour paper screen printed with the specially formulated primer.
Available in clay brown, storm grey shale grey and terracotta in the sizes 8 x 10", 9 x 12", 12 x 16" and 18 x 24"
