Originally designed in 1945, this lateset version of the full size French Sketch Box Easel is manufactured from premium quality, dark-stained European oak
timber and. together with its metal riveted jointing, will ensure lifetime durability.
Whilst keeping the same traditional features of the historic JULLIAN French Box easel, this Vintage version is ideal for use either indoors or outdoors.
Indoors, it is a splendid piece of furniture and its antique finish will harmonise with many elegant interiors. Outdoors, it will offer the same impressive reliability of the original Artist Collection easel with a unique exclusive appearance.
The box has a 45mm deep drawer plus a storage space below for all paints, brushes and ancillary equipment. The sketch box drawer interior is divided into 3 easy to clean metal-lined compartments - ideal for paint tubes and/or drawing materials and, below the drawer, there are two 33mm deep metal lined 100x460mm long compartments for brush storage and other longer items.
This Vintage edition of the Artist Collection easel is supplied complete with a wooden palette, brush cloth and quality leather carry strap, luggage tag and handle plus an exclusive jute fabric backpack/shoulder carry bag and a set of 3 brass-plated leg spikes are also supplied for all-terrain painting.
